Field Trips &
Classroom Learning
Connect your students with conservation learning through a field trip to Louisville Zoo. All field trips are self-guided and available Monday through Friday for school groups of 10 or more.
Zoo Kids Inc. is a two-fold program that raises money from individuals and community partners to subsidize Zoo field trips for schools and nonprofit organizations serving at-risk or disadvantaged children.
Requirements & Policies
- Minimum 10 students required
- 1 adult chaperone per 10 students admitted free
- Available Monday – Friday only
- Book at least 12 business days in advance for registered pricing
- All field trips are self-guided
- Free parking for school groups
- Payment due on arrival: card, cash, or checks (no purchase orders)
- No refunds; excess payments converted to donations
- Memberships not valid for field trip admissions
